Bible Study Group Meets on the 2nd Wednesday at 10 a.m. in members' homes. Clothes Closet Ministry Volunteers open the Clothes Closet every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. Clothes are free to anyone. Volunteers also sort and hang clothes on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. First Ladies' Breakfast Women meet every other month for breakfast and mission speakers. Foster Children FBC has sponsored Chirstmas parties, Easter egg hunts, and other events for this local group. Habitat for Humanity Volunteers work with a local chapter. The church also supports Habitat through special donations of building supplies. Helping Hands Ministry Volunteers provide assistance with "handy-man" jobs such as minor household repairs and yard work. Meals on Wheels Ministry Volunteers deliver hot meals from the county Senior Citizens' Center to shut-ins in Commerce on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Ministry of Caring Provides funds to help with emergency needs such as food, shelter, utilities, and medicine. Operation Inasmuch Takes place in the spring and fall. Members of the congregation reach out in the community by doing yard work, home repairs, washing cars, visiting shut-ins, delivering food, health screenings, and opening the clothes closet. Operation Santa Clause Members donate clothes, toys, and food for needy families in Commerce.
The Quilting Ministry serves by making small comfort quilts. The quilts go to help provide support and comfort to people especially in need of it.
Thanksgiving Meals and Fruit Baskets Members prepare and deliver fruit to shut-ins. Volunteers also help prepare food for a community with other area churches.
